You, Me, and The City

DIVINE MERCY SHRINE

As for our project we've chosen this place to represent, this place have so much to boast of. Most people would say this is not just a shrine or a church, for many years the people behind it manage to keep on improving the place to give the people that feeling of solemnity in a way you'll enjoy yourself in the environment and the ambiance of the whole place. Soul searching? Well, this is a perfect place for that.

The place have so many statues that replicates the life of Christ. That would be the reason why most of the catholics choose to visit the place every Holy Week for their pilgrimage and remember how Jesus sacrifices His life for us. One of our group mate ones attended the Shrine's yearly program for the Holy Week, and as for what she experienced, there where a lot of people mostly families and tourist who spent their time looking back Jesus's life and honoring him in different ways.

Above photos are just few of the statues the shrine has. We round half of the place and was astonished by the beauty of it. Most of us usually attend the mass there every Sunday but we weren't able to go around, but when our group did, we appreciate the beauty of the place more. Its surely not just your typical shrine. Catholic or not, you should visit here and we can assure you, you will feel awe as we did. =)

Green and green everywhere! I remember one of my high school teacher told me that when you're stress just look on the greener side outside and you'll feel relax instantly, I must agree to that. And Divine Mercy has it, just by looking around all the stress will be out, and that's guaranteed.

Aside from Divine Mercy, Bulacan still have so much to offer when it comes to beautiful places, also when it comes to leisure parks. But the real deal still goes to the rural areas where "province living" still exist, that's where you'll appreciate nature more. Unlike here in Metro Manila where you'll only see few sites, and if ever there is, it's not as spectacular and breath taking as the rural areas does.
